Our Cardiff parish of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God is managed by two administrative bodies: the Parish Council and the Council of Charity Trustees. We are governed by the statutes and byelaws of the ROCOR (Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia).

The Parish Council
The parish council is formed to assist the rector in running and maintaining good order within the parish. Parish officers are usually elected during the parish annual general meeting.

The Council of Charity Trustees
Cardiff Russian Orthodox Church (‘the Charity’) is a registered charity which exists to support the ecclesiastical parish of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God. The Council of Trustees is the executive body of the charity and our Charity Trust Deed stipulates a minimum of four Trustees be appointed to oversee the Charity and implement it’s decisions.
